Pay by plate with no receipts on your dashboard
The on-street pay boxes offer a simple to use touch screen interface to get you paid and on your way.
Users enter in their license plate number which ticketing enforcement uses to confirm paid parking sessions.
After pressing “START” to wake the meter, the patron is first prompted for their license plate number. All patrons must enter at least 1 character in order to proceed.
A check mark, identical to what appears on the keypad , will be displayed in place of the work “PRINT” in the final software.
The patron is prompted for payment. Shown are the current rate, hours of operation, and available accepted forms of payment. The black box around the rate information can be modified to include additional location or profile information.

When card is inserted for payment, a message “Take back your card” is shown after inserting. This initiates the fast swipe action to read the card.
The expiration date and time is displayed and updated based on the amount of payment inserted. The text “Increase payment for more time” will alternate with “Press *PRINT when done”.

After the patron finalizes the time they require, they press PRINT to validate the payment. The amount paid is shown along with messages from the online payment server. “Authorizing”, “Approved”, and “Declined” are typical responses.
A final display of the space purchased and expiration date/time is displayed for successfully completed transactions.
After the display expiration screen, the patron is instructed to retrieve their receipt. The expiration date & time continue to be displayed during printing.
Brief message indicating that the transaction has finished.
We don’t either. The good news is that ticketing enforcement knows you have paid by simply looking up your license plate number. So relax and enjoy the city.
